Acheson Builders is delighted to present our Virtual Tour of an amazing Victorian Home, beautifully and painstakingly renewed! Because of the homeowner’s delicious sense of color and style, along with a collaboration of several designers – Jim Acheson, Leah Raitt (interior designer), and Susan Haifleigh (architect), as well as other artisans – working together to bring ideas and dreams to life, you will find this home stunningly beautiful, original, and colorful.
Acheson Builders was honored to be invited to return to this home for significant new renovations, nearly 20 years after we completed a major two-story addition on this same home (for the same owners). This new work included many facets – fancy custom wood fencing, a new unique shingle pattern on the roof, custom “cresting”, complete redecorating and new spaces indoors; a main floor laundry area; mudroom; home office; complete gut-remodeled kitchen with custom cabinetry and pantry; custom built cabinets upstairs including a special custom vanity, a large wardrobe, a Yoga ladder; new windows, and French Doors in the second-floor master suite leading to a 2nd story balcony and deck area outside.
